Why OnChainMonkey?
Welcome to the first episode of the OCM Buzz. Today’s post was inspired by an X thread that Zee posted earlier this month. The topic is “Why OnChainMonkey Should Be Your Top Choice” when discussing NFT’s, Bitcoin, and innovative tech in general.
Let’s dive into the X thread to back him up in his statements.
That’s right! OnChainMonkey isn’t just another NFT project. Check out this epic interrupt by our fearless leader, @Goodthings, as he describes what OCM is and why it is so unique and primed for success.
Creating an NFT project directly onchain is no small feat. It took months and months of coding by Danny Yang and the team to get the file size exactly right to fit into one transaction. One transaction! Wow.
Many PFP projects available on the market today might be based on a particular blockchain such as Ethereum or Solana, but the actual data is kept offchain in a separate database somewhere. Meaning, that even if you think you “own” that particular PFP (or NFT), if that database gets shut down or hacked, there goes your PFP.
When you buy or trade for an onchain NFT, it is yours forever.
You can say that again, Zee! A tech marvel is absolutely right. The terms you mentioned have never been heard before by the masses, which goes to show how early this project is and the type of forward thinkers we have leading this project.

Again, the team is led by none other than Danny Yang, Founder of the Stanford Bitcoin Meetup in 2013 and founder of the largest crypto exchange in Taiwan. OnChainMonkey has incredible team leaders such as Amanda Terry, @Goodthings, @Polymath, and many others.
Doing well is one thing. But, when it is coupled with doing good for humanity, now doing well rises to a whole new level. From humanitarian aid for Ukraine, to conserving coral reef, bringing internet to schools globally, even the successful evacuation of Sharbat Gula and her family from Afghanistan.
Couldn’t agree more. Bitcoin Ordinals is creating a shift that now allows value onchain in the form of inscriptions. OnChainMonkey decided to place high-end digital artifacts onto Bitcoin since it is the most decentralized and secure network.
Holy grail is correct! OCM’s are high-end digital artifacts that will stand the test of time.
