OCM Dimensions “The First 300” on Bitcoin

Welcome to a new edition of Let’s Focus. This time around the focus will be on the OnChainMonkey (OCM) Dimensions mint on BTC for a curated group of 300 enthusiasts. This highly anticipated Ordinal mint on the BTC chain appears to be lining up to be the first of its kind on BTC and the possibilities seem endless with new technology being built out daily. Let’s focus on what has been announced up to this point.

Recently, the OCM Dimensions tab was launched on the OCM Website to give further information about the specifics of this mint. (Always refer to the official website and other official communication mediums of which can all be found within the OCM Discord server.)
After much anticipation with discussion inside of Twitter Spaces, online chats, and as far as I am aware, plenty of private conversations on the topic, specifics on the ground-breaking BTC mint for the ‘The First 300’ OCM Dimensions has details made available to the public:

Interesting Aspects
OCM Dimensions, ‘The First 300’, has so many interesting aspects to it that it’s hard to know where to start. A new nugget of information that was released when the Dimensions tab on the OCM Website went live, was that this special collection contains 1/1 masterpieces that are inscribed on Satoshis from way back in January 2009.
According to Blockchain.com (Blockchain.com 1st BTC P2P Transaction), the first public transaction on the BTC blockchain was on January 11, 2009 at 10:01am. This means ‘The First 300’ are extremely coveted Satoshis even before the innovation that will be added by the OCM Dimensions inscription. Wow!
Another interesting portion of ‘The First 300’ is that the OCM Genesis DNA is going to be taken from OCM Genesis that the Metagood team keep inside the company’s wallet. These select Genesis were minted by the team and have not been traded. The 300 collections includes numerous rare traits that should make for amazing-looking OCM Dimensions on BTC. For many that have dreamed of owning these rare Genesis OCM ‘grails’, this may be the only opportunity to obtain one yourself!

Into the Future
The amazing advances that OCM Dimensions ‘The First 300’ are bringing to BTC, Web3, the OnChainMonkey community, and ultimately the world are truly mind-boggling. It feels like specific threads could be pulled in so many different directions to discuss in even greater depth. The privilege to be 1 of ‘The First 300’ will be an honor, even to those on the sidelines watching the events to come is extremely exciting.
There are more specifics to come, as there will be the OCM Dimensions on ETH launch which will focus on the existing Genesis and Karma OCMs. Some information has been released but understandably, the launch on BTC has become a priority with how fast the technology is advancing.
According to recent discussions, OCM Dimensions on ETH will be modeled after the Desserts mechanic where your Genesis OCM will “consume” your ETH token in order to obtain the inscribed Dimension on BTC, thus creating an amazing multi-chain layer for holding an OCM Set.
